Who are we looking for?
A passionate and motivated individual who will be an asset to our vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. Previous experience is not essential, unlike an eagerness to grow and expand your practical skill set. Utilising your strong theoretical knowledge, and being supported by our Senior Clinical lead, you will provide our customers with a service that surpasses their expectations. As an exceptional team player, you will have the skills to actively collaborate with other team members and professionals to provide an outstanding customer-centred care model.
What do you need to bring?
- An Australian Accredited Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A sound knowledge of contemporary Physiotherapy practice for older adults, including the ageing process, principles of self-management and the promotion of positive ageing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the skill to work alongside people from a range of different backgrounds
- The ability to work autonomously utilising your excellent time management and organisational skills
What can you expect to be doing?
- Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate a range of physiotherapy assessments, programs and services
- Working across a variety of settings, recommending treatment, education and restorative activities
- Actively promoting positive ageing in the community, developing initiatives such as preventative screening and staying active programs
- Establishing relationships with customers, their families, carers and other health professionals, to optimise customer outcomes
- Maintaining required documentation in a professional and timely manner
