The Position:
We are seeking enthusiastic Nurses with experience in Aged Care to provide leadership and supervision to our dedicated Care Workers. You will be responsible for leading our team in the delivery of person-centred care, providing guidance and acting as a point of escalation for issues. With effective interpersonal skills and the ability to keep calm in high-pressure situations, you will provide quality individualised nursing care.
In this rewarding role, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for ensuring the care needs of our residents enhances and promotes their quality of life. You will act as an advocate for residents, building effective relationships with them, their families and other staff. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, you will have input in operational decisions.
Skills & Experience:
- Experienced Registered General Nurse with a current APHRA registration
- Proven leadership experience alongside sound clinical and interpersonal skills
- A strong resident focus and an empathetic and compassionate approach with residents and families
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility and availability to cover shifts
- Proficiency in clinical documentation in line with nursing competency standards
